The Gujarati Samaj of NSW is an active non-profit organisation, dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Gujarati culture in New South Wales, Australia. This idea took shape in the 1990s and by 2000, it was formally registered as a corporation. The organisation, which boasts hundreds of enthusiastic members and volunteers, is driven by its mission to celebrate and conserve Gujarati heritage. This is achieved through a variety of cultural, educational, and recreational activities.
Our primary objective is to uphold and celebrate our rich Gujarati heritage. We aim to do so through a plethora of cultural, educational, and recreational activities that engage our members and contribute to a vibrant multicultural society in Australia.
We take pride in organising many cultural activities, including Uttarayan, Kallol, Garba, Diwali, and Dramas. These events are not limited to our members but reflect our commitment to promoting Gujarati culture in Sydney and beyond.
At Gujarati Samaj of NSW, we believe in providing quality experiences to our members and the larger community. Each of our events is carefully planned and executed, ensuring that we offer exceptional enjoyable and meaningful experiences.
As part of our commitment to preserve and celebrate our culture, we also provide a Gujarati calendar for download, allowing members and interested individuals to stay connected with significant dates and events in our cultural calendar.
Join us as we continue to celebrate our heritage and contribute to the multicultural tapestry of Australia. We welcome everyone interested in Gujarati culture and heritage and look forward to further growing our community.
